You deal directly with the manufacturer. We control planning, quality and pricing ourselves.
One dedicated account manager in the Netherlands coordinates your order, from the first design discussion to delivery.
Send your design, sketch, reference photograph or chosen model, together with the quantities per model and colour. Include your preferred materials, branding, packaging and delivery country. If the order is tied to a launch or event, give the required arrival date at the beginning.
Your account manager will get back to you. A complete tech pack is not necessary to start the conversation; identify what is already decided and which choices you would like to discuss.
We begin with what you want to make. For an existing model, identify the changes you need. For your own design, explain the intended product, construction and appearance through the information you have available.
Quantities should be broken down per model and colour. For jackets and apparel, include the size distribution. This makes the brief specific enough to discuss the minimums and planned production.
The quotation is based on your specifications. Include the required logo treatment, labels and packaging so those elements are considered alongside the product.
If you require an NDA before sharing designs, a particular sourcing document or an independent inspection, raise that requirement at this stage. Our OEM production and private label information explain the two starting points for a project.
Sampling normally takes 4–6 weeks. Samples are charged because they are made to your design and specifications.
Review the actual sample against the brief, including the details relevant to the product: materials, size, layout, hardware, branding and any agreed presentation. Any changes are agreed before approval; a further sample may be charged.
Bulk production starts after sample approval and normally takes 8–10 weeks. The approved sample establishes the specifications for the order and for repeat production.
Samples are paid in advance. For production orders, an advance payment is required before production starts, and the balance is due before the goods leave the factory.
If you need to change the design, colour, material or packaging after reviewing a sample, identify that change before approving the production specification. The timetable should reflect the product that has actually been agreed.
Checks take place on incoming leather, after cutting, during production and at final inspection before dispatch. Production and quality control are carried out in our family's own facility in India.
Independent inspection, for example by SGS, is welcome and should be arranged with your account manager. See our quality and certifications information for the stated production standards.
EU and UK deliveries include duties at no extra shipping charge. For UK deliveries, import VAT is payable by the customer.
Other destinations, including Switzerland, Canada and the USA, are quoted separately. We arrange export documents. US import duties and taxes are for the buyer's account.
Shipping time is additional to sampling and production. Your delivery destination and required arrival date should therefore be part of the original enquiry.
| Stage | Stated timing |
|---|---|
| Sampling | Normally 4–6 weeks |
| Bulk production | Normally 8–10 weeks after sample approval |
| Shipping | Additional; discussed for the destination and order |
Samples and bulk production together normally require 12–16 weeks. The overall project can also include time to clarify the brief, review a sample or agree changes. A first enquiry is therefore the start of planning, not a confirmed dispatch date.
For an event or seasonal collection, your account manager will advise what is possible against the required delivery date. Avoid committing a launch to an assumed timeline before the order details have been discussed.
The minimum is 50 pieces per model and colour for real-leather bags and jackets, 100 for wallets, belts and small leather goods, and 250 for vegan leather bags. Jacket orders may be spread across sizes S to XL within the stated minimum.
If the order contains several models or colourways, provide the full breakdown. For gift sets, minimums apply to each product and colour in the set. See corporate leather gifts for the details to include in that type of brief.
Your dedicated account manager in the Netherlands remains the project contact from first question to delivery. Repeat orders are produced to the approved sample specifications. When requesting a repeat, identify any changes clearly and include the new quantities and required timing.
Samples take 4–6 weeks. Bulk production takes 8–10 weeks after sample approval, plus shipping. Working towards a specific date? Mention it in your request and we will advise what is possible.
Samples normally take 4–6 weeks, followed by 8–10 weeks for bulk production after sample approval, plus shipping. Allow 12–16 weeks for those two stages together. Brief clarification, sample revisions and the final delivery arrangements can affect the overall schedule, so share your required delivery date at the outset.
